Kieva C. Robinson
    
Kieva C. Robinson moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina from Watertown, NY in 2011. She is a NC native, born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Her career studies include Business Administration with a concentration in Management and Organizational Communication from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. May 13th, Kieva received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from North Carolina Central University with a 4.0 GPA. 
She has served as an administrator of radiology in Charlotte, case manager for Jefferson County Public Health, home health service, and charge nurse of the mother/baby units at both Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and Womack Army Medical Center. Her additional nursing experience includes: oncology, medical, surgical, and orthopedics.
Kieva received awards in Excellence, Dependability, and was recently nominated as Nurse of the Year at Womack Army Medical Center. She serves as a safety ambassador, does scheduling, new employee orientation, is a nurse preceptor, and performance improvement committee member. Kieva served as a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Domestic Violence Counselor and Volunteer for the United Services Organization (USO).
Her community activities include: National Student Nurses Association, secretary of the Sandhills Black Nurses Association, board of directors member and media committee advisor for Hands of Protection to Prevent Child Abuse, and founder of Cathy Cares Back to School Drive. Her topics of interest include: hypothermia of the newborn, promoting safe sleep of the newborn, improving the orientation processes for new nursing graduates, prevention of catheter associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs), and teen substance abuse. Her plans are to pursue a Masters degree in Nursing Education.
